Rosa Micale (1989, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine-Italian actress, creator, teacher and playwright. She graduated in Dramatic Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA, 2012) and expanded her training in dramaturgy, production, social media and writing.
She has studied acting with such greats as Guillermo Cacace, Silvina Sabater, Analia Couceyro and Bernardo Cappa. She completed her Musical Comedy degree at Julio Bocca's school (2007-2010), where she trained in classical dance, contemporary jazz, lyrical and popular singing. She also took dramaturgy workshops with Maruja Bustamante and Alejandro Tantanian, as well as scriptwriting with Federico Mordkowicz. In acting in front of the camera, she trained at the Central de Cine de Madrid with David de los Santos (2023) and in Buenos Aires with Pablo Ini (2013).
As a playwright, she wrote and starred in Bocetos (Madrid, 2022) and participated in Artificios para través de la psicosis (Museo Reina Sofía, 2022) and as perforare in the Santiago Sierra exhibition at the CA2M Museum (2024). Her work Mecha Corta was presented at Microteatro Buenos Aires (2024). In addition, she has taught theater classes in spaces such as the Sanchinarro Cultural Center and Lavapiés.
In cinema, she wrote and directed the short film La Revancha, winner of the Inusual Festival of Buenos Aires (2022), and acted in Mystery of Arts (2022), awarded at the South Film Festival Academy Awards. Her interest in experimentation led her to complete a diploma in social media (UCES, 2020) and to develop video poems, including Paja, selected at the Enfoque Unidos Shortfilm Competition (2020).
She has participated in various advertisements, including Chocolate Valor (2024), Jumbo (2020), Salimos fuerte (2020) and La Salteña (2019), etc.
She currently resides in Madrid, where she collaborates with the magazine and podcast Cámara y Telón, teaches theater classes and continues exploring new artistic projects.
